Does anyone have a Socom 458? I was thinking of ordering an upper from RRA.
Any info? How do you like it? I know the ammo from Corbon is $$$ But if I get one I'll most likely reload. Any info is appreciated.

I have heard that it is 'The Hammer of Thor' on feral hogs, short-range white tail deer, feral humans, etc. and is easier to get along with than the 500 Beowolf.

ive been trying to get one for the past 2 weeks. RRA wont have them till the end of summer, Castle Arms wont return my calls or emails, nor will Teppojutsu. ive got money burning a hole in my pocket!!! As of right now the 50 Beowulf is looking pretty good, tho the wait is 10 weeks right now, at least they answer their phones! any one gotten one yet???

I second calling Tony from Tromix. Tony has done more for big bore AR conversions than anyone I know. He is a great guy.

Tony has made AR uppers in pretty much every large caliber you can imagine....last time I shot with him he had a .50AE upper that we were thumping targets with. A .458 Socom upper from Tomix is on my list this year for must gets.
