ive seen those muzzle brakes things before, they make them for the rem 870, and use set screws, mostly for looks than anything else

Sorry LA,

Theres no set screws on this saiga. ITS threaded on and silver-soldered. This comp was specificaly requested by a S. Fla Police Dept. for its' entry guys. Its a breacher comp...or AKA Standoff comp....but you can use buck shot right behind your Breacher rnds....IT also gets rid of all the muzzle rise.

IMHO: I think the manufact. looked @ the Benneli IPSC comp...and CUT teeth into facia so it wouldnt slip...

Just some historical accuracy. Nice shotgun! The short barrelled folding saiga 12 gauge is called saiga 12K. The rifle shown, if the barrel was shortenned, is actually a Saiga 12S, like the "S" in AKMS, AK-47S, AK-74S, and AKS-74U. (Skladyvayushchimsya, Russian for "folding stock"). It is most likely stamped 12C on the side of the receiver. The Import company can't read Cyrillic, I guess, so they didnt know a "C" is an "S" in Cyrillic so it became known in the US as the 12C. It's like CCCP which is actually SSSR. Did you guys read it as 12"G" or am I wrong on this one? If it started out as a shortbarrel version, it is a saiga 12K.

My buddy says that this Shotgun has made his job 100 x easier....

BREACHES like a champ....COMPENSATES great....BUT IT REALLY INTIMIDATES THE bad guys.His other job is " FELONY Vehicle Takedown " ....

BAD guys have had alot of pistols pointed at them throughout their careers...BUT this SAIGA already has a reputation on the streets of C.FLA.

He calls me just to tell me about their reactions....I just LOL & keep telling him "I WAS GLAD I COULD HELP "

I know this is an old topic but... where the hell do you get the 8rd mags!!!!! Are they LEO only? I remeber one guy saying that you can't have more than 5 rds in and auto clip fed shotgun but the .410 Saiga's have 10rd'ers...I've never seen one though so maybe those are LEO only too. How much could one expect to pay for such a mag? Thanks for the help.
