TANTAL: What are the flat sided, sythentic mags? Bugarian ? 7.62 ?

The ones I have seen are Polish. I think the Russians made a few but later adopted the inverted rib pattern we see on the AK-100 series. These mags are polyamide PA6, and look just like modern black plastic AK-74 mags, but are sized and curved for 7.62mm. If you go to my web site, and follow the link to Radom US, check out the Polish AKMS with these mags inserted.
