Vepr and the new ban...

Well,exactly one month ago I posted here that ZDF/Robarms had told me that their import request for more Vepr rifles had been denied. I wonder if the Vepr is falling victim to this new BATF ruling about "Assault Rifle" receivers and barrels; anyone talk to ZDF/Robarms about this yet?

I spoke to them yesterday. They said that they were not affected, and that the Vepr was specifically built to get around this ban anyway.

Also spoke with them a few days ago. They (Feds) wanted to stop the import of the Vepr but couldn't because of signed trade agreements w/ Russia.
