Saiga AK Mag Conversion Question

I'm considering buying a used Saiga 7.62. I have no intention of changing the stock sporter configuration. However, I'd like it to take standard AK mags. What would be the minimal amount of mods I'd have to do to make the mags work reliably? Just hoping to avoid the whole bullet-guide mod, etc. Thanks

Just file the mag catch tab down thinner for the magazine to lock in. As for the bullet guide, I just put a little metal screw in the front of the magazine.
It works great.
