Ok, no one has brought this up, so.....I will. Did you guys know that the Lee Enfield Rifles have a LEFT HAND TWIST BARREL???? I was wondering if anyone noticed. If you have, or IF I am late on the scene, I am sorry for the waste of time. I was told about 8 years ago that Enfields had a LEFT HAND TWIST. I just remebered that when I was inspecting my #5's bore and barrel. Sometimes I get in a zone, and I do not realize the rifling is different. I just look down the barrel, (unloaded of course) to look for pitting and other irregular debris. Hope this may Help someone. 8dDUCE.

Thanks, I would not feel right taking a mag that I did not buy. Besides, I have 2 Enfeilds, and I can get some more mags, it is just going to be awhile. I was letting you know that I did not forget about the mags I said I was looking for. I TRUELY am thankfull for the offer, you need to keep all the goodies you can. Future swap items!!!!!! You do not need to give me a Christmas present, I really enjoy the chats. That is a gift in it's self. This IS the best place on the board, it's the people. We share a love for firearms, not just one make or model, but all firearms. Thank you. 8dDUCE.

I read this totally BS article once about the LH twist in Enfields. They said it was to compensate for the Coreolis Effect in the southern hemisphere (like the water in the toilet). I don't see how that could have any measurable impact.
