Based on the quality I'd have to say China

their PO box is in whitewright, but their shop is not. It's only about 5 or 6 miles away though. One of the guys I work with knows people that work there....

I ain't telling where it is....

I am quite disappointed that they haven't posted anything though, wonder why?

That's what I'm trying to find out right now. I'm assuming they make some parts, but I could be wrong. From what I've been told, they've got a pretty good sized warehouse/building/shop/whatever. Guess I should send word through the grapevine for them to post on here?

I would be most grateful

I talked to the guys at the Model 1 Sales booth(Denton TX gun show) today. They said that they do manufacture in house, but weren't specific about what they manufactured. I didn't ask for any specifics, but I doubt they would have said anyway.

Hmm... why do I have this strange feeling that a name that rhymes with "mess" has something to do with it. Thanks for checking it out.

Here's my :cents:

I bought a 20" kit from them just before they moved to TX from IL. I built it on a DPMS action. I did and do not have any serious problems with it.

The parts appear to be from various suppliers. I asked about the 1:8 Stainless Steel barrel option I ordered and was told it was from E.R. Shaw. It was a little rough and tended to foul some at first, but a quick fire lap course using a kit I got from Midway sure fixed that.

The handguards seem a little more flexable than some I have handled but they don't do anything bad.

The trigger was a little gritty at first but it seems much better now.

I shot it at the RVWA Appleseed shoot in Ramseur, NC on 2 & 3 Sept. I put several hundred rounds of Serbian, nny 55gr ball through it in two days.

It did not stop due to any fault of its own. I had two failure to feeds because I did not fully seat the mag after a change, DUHO!! I cannot put those on the rifle. It was the loose nut pulling the trigger both times, not the gun.

It shoots better than I do, but that is faint praise.

Have FUN!
