No mention of grade and it looks like they are not matching numbers for $150. Wonder what condition Collectors Grade equates to or are you just getting matching numbers for $50 more? They could be offering anything from Good to Like New. Wish they were more specific.

SHOOTER, I think you'll be happy with your I/O NEW 59/66.
I ordered one of Centerfire's 'collectors grade' Romanian SKS's last year and it was a POS. Had some blue but the stock was trash and had matching numbers EXCEPT for the bolt. The consider collectors grade matching numbers, pisspoor stock 75% blue and a non matching bolt. And lest I forget- NO FRIKIN CLEANING ROD! Note they don't mention the rod in their ad...I'd ask about that before I ordered one. They'll sell you one on the side for $20 probably.
I think you'll find that anything selling for less than the $300 right now is not going to be to close to new, unissued, perfect condition like the I/O ones.
Having said that, I tried my luck with SOG for #2. Hopefully it will be very good.
It worries me now they're talking about 'matching numbers' for $200 that could mean this next batch is going to be crappy.

I/O is going to keep all the "new and like new" ones for them self and sell the rest of them to other dealers.it's going to be like this until someone else import these.if you are going to get one of these SKSs from someone else expect lower quality then the ones you are getting from I/O.but I don't think a SKS is worth $300.00 though.it's not a ak!!!! my 2c worth

Me too. I'm almost willing to spend the big bucks; i.e, Chinese Honor Guard, or $300 for a real shooter, but there's one helluva good reason holding me back right now. ;puke: A Temporary thing, I assure you.
