Unless I am doing something wrong, is there a good tutorial for converting the SAIGA 12.
The Saiga 12 is different than the .223 and I am really considering conversion. papa
Here is a post I made awhile back on it, not a lot of detail but it gives a good overview and it's got some pics.

It's can be a real easy job, cutting the square hole for the pistol grip nut is really the only "difficult" part, there doesn't have to be any welding involved and you only make two new holes in the receiver.
Or you can make it more complex depending on the trigger guard you want, or if you want a folding stock, or if you want the "drain" holes welded up or muzzle attachments or different sights.
Maybe have a look around at http://forum.saiga-12.com/

I like this one...

but I guess I'm kind of bias... :D
It's very long but informative.
Here is a good pictorial showing the basics http://www.ipscgun.com/SAIGA12CONVERSION.html
Keep in mind this is for an Ace folding stock (only reason to cut the tang)
There are several more tutorials out there. The one shown above by toxic is the most popular.
Dive in and start cutting! Good luck.

Thanks, I fixed it.
