98k bent bolts

how much for a 98k mauser bent bolt? yes i know that i have to have said gun headspaced when using new bolt.:D :D :D

:confused: Ahhhhhhhh . . . . . are you asking how much a gunsmith would charge to bend the bolt on a straight bolt type Mauser rifle? If so it would cost you about $150 more or less IMO.

There are two techniques; one is to cut off the bolt that's on the rifle and grind the base of the shaft to an agle that you want on the finished bolt, then weld it to the bolt. 2nd technique is to cut off the original bolt and toss it then buy a new bolt with a more "Sporterized" look and then weld that to the bolt body.
