Sounds great ---I got a buddy who recentley re-sparked my love affair with the AK -- now I have the SAR1 - a AK-103 in transit and a SLR that is being sent to Mike at MSC for some custom barrel work-- my buddy has a few nice ones too -- it's just too damn bad we live in this state - and I'm in Madison --(just so everyone knows - about this city --the city govt tried to ban ALL handgun OWNERSHIP in the city limits a couple years ago -- it didnt "fly" but it's a wake up call -- and there are no handgun sales permitted in city limits and as with a lot of other places "assault" weapons are alomost non existent) - I doubt it gets anymore Liberal than here -- it's horrible - and the gunshows are far and few between not to mention gun dealers -- there's one dealer near here "the ammo box" that sells SAR's for near $600 - and that was before the latest ban -- crazy ! So we just have what we need ordered -- even if we have to pay 10% of cost it's still cheaper --well enough babble -- email: jscor@home.com

ya i cant agree more. the shows can really suck here.($175 for wolf WTF!?!) find some stuff once in a great while, gotta get lucky though. should get together before hunting or the cold get into full swing. someone mentioned a posible polar bear shoot. might be kinda neat in january. show those AR guys how a real rifle is supposed to work http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/wink.gif frozen milk jugs would make cool targets. Madison sure is a bummer, I'm here too. Where did you find a dealer willing to do transfers for $30? I'm still using Rusk, $50 a pop. Ammo Box sucks big time, sometimes a good selection, but insane prices. Any time you guys want to put a shoot together, let me know too, nobody around here likes AKs at all. Oh yea, BTW there is supposed to be a show this weekend in Milwaukee, at "State park" where ever that is. I might try and make it over there. Need to pick up some more AKs before prices get to crazy.

Are you sure about Gun Show in Milwaukee? That's a decent show if it's at the State Fair grounds -- easy to find -- right off I-94 -- Let me know -- I'll watch for post -- I'll go if there is one ..
The guy I go to is "Grandpa's Gunshop" on Williamsons Street in Madison - he's in the phone book -- he's only open Fr/Sat/Sun but you can call anytime - real good guy ---- good luck

yes - there is a show -- Sept 1-3
directions are take I-94 to Milwaukee - get off on 84th ST - take a right- go to first set of lights - take a left -- go down to stop sign and take a right -- it'll be first bldg on the Right -- this is the Milwaukee State Fair Grounds right where the race track is -- it's pretty easy to find -- if you get lost -- just ask for the Fair Grounds

jscor & others: I went to Zeks's or Mr. William's website. While scrolling around I discovered he was selling 'Romanian Dragunov Tigers'. This is pure BULLSHIT and a total misrepresentation of his product for sale. It's a Romak-3 he's trying to pass off as a Dragunov Tiger to the unsuspecting masses. I've seen others in the shotgun news calling these PSL's Dragunov's, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone call a Romak-3 a 'Romanian Tiger Dragunov'. I own a Romak-3 & I own a Tiger. A Kalishikov is not a Dragunov. So Mr. William's, or Zeke: If you want to play on this website, fix up your own websire and get the BULLSHIT off of it. It makes me wonder about your business practices. By the way, the Romak-3 is a fine rifle, but it's not a Dragunov.

My ad on my web site is for layman, It's very easy to understand, and we're not trying to decieve anyone. Here's the breakdown. Romanian (manufacturer) Dragunov( Style/ type/Like configuration) Tiger (Carbine/ Short Version) If I we're to advertise this as a Romak III mark 2, Series 6 , model 1 , type x -7.62 non NATOrnd, real people wouldn't have a clue. This is a great rifle for the money with all the acces. You guy's are experts, 1 in a million who give a rats ass. Please stop assuming all potential rifle buyers have the expertise you do. Is it just me or does anyone else think snow dog is so anal retentive he needs a manhole cover for a butt plug.
