Gents,

What wholesaler has the best looking CZ-52s right now? I am thinking about getting one at the end of the month.

Also, I was thinking a .38 super conversion barrel would be cool. Wonder if any manufacturer out there would be interested in that idea? Was possible with the Tokarev, so it should be with the CZ.

Do not get one from SOG.

I don't know a good place to get one, but my roommate and i each got one from SOG, and the barrels were pitted and awful. The gun looks good, but the barrel is the nastiest I've seen on any gun i've bought so far.

Stay away!

Shawn,

Thank you for the advice. I recall you mentioning that a while back. Century is listing ones with new barrels on their site, so I may get ahold of them.

I got one of the Century ones, and it is excellent. My local dealer has a Century one as well and it is excellent except one of the grip plates is dicolored badly. They're sending him a replacement grip though. Other than that his is excellent too. Both have new barrels.

1. Just purchased one of a Century Shipment. I had the pick of the litter since I was first. All the barrels were in excellent condition but the finish on some needed work. Overall Century sent some very good pistols.

Just saw three from Century. 2 were arsenal refinished (new barrels and the rest looked new), the third was the original mangenese phosphate finish and was 90%+. All had 2 mags and the original leather holster for $129 ea.

Whos2kno,
That is without a doubt the best looking CZ-52 I have seen...you are very lucky. Mine was new, unfired, but had edge wear. Not bad, just enough to make it used looking. You did good!

YES IT IS
the only stuff I know that's not corrosive is the NEW S&B ammo but I might be wrong someone correct me if I am but that's the only stuff I know that is non corrosive.now there is S&B ammo on stripper clips that's corrosive so watch out for the two.

Yes, and if it is on eight round stripper clips you must send it to me immediately so that I may properly dispose of it through my hungry CZ-52's.
