Finally after waiting almost 6 months my rifle came in. And to my supprise it has no lower reciever block and comes with M-16 bolt carrier like the pre-ban green labels,also rifle is set up mil-spec with M-4 stamped on upper reciever just above delta ring, no screwdriver needed to remove upper reciver and like I said M-16 bolt carrier. I did not expect this from colt I was under the impression ANY full auto parts were illegal in civi firearms. This is my third colt AR the other two were bought in 1992, AR-15 sporter II and AR-15 A2 govmt. carbine both have lower reciever blocks and need screwdriver to remove upper reciever (pain in the ass). Glad to see COLT is listening to what the customer is wanting. If I had the funds I would double my order. If anyone has info on M-16 bolt carrier being a problem please let me know. I thank you for the help. This rifle is SWEET!!!!!!!!!

Is the colt forum dead. Can someone give me info on the M-16 bolt carrier being legal

Perfectly legal to have and use the M-16 bolt carrier, as long as you don't have all the other parts to make it full auto...
My Colt LEO 6920 also has the M4 marking stamped and came with the M-16 bolt carrier...

Cool glad to see I'm not alone out here. The restricted stamping for law enforcement is really cool. I recieved mine about a week ago is yours' about the same age? I was told they only make the civi runs once a year all the rest go to millitary, is that true? I will post pics of my 6721 when I get time. Thanks for the reply

P.S do all COLT rifles start life as M-4's as stamped above delta ring? just curious.
