Big 5 sale M91/30

Just got my flyer in the sunday paper today. They have M91/30 on sale for $49.99. I know I could maybe get it cheaper on the net but this way I can look at them. Report to follow when I get back.

Being able to inspect the rifle and to know what your getting is worth the extra 10 dollars to me.
BTW if you got one from one of the distributors you would have to pay shipping and that could run the extra $10 anyway.

Okay here is how went at the store. Kinda of a hassle for a $49.00 rifle.

ME: I want to buy a M91/30 you have on sale

EMP: I am sorry but we do not have any.

ME: The ad just came out today.

EMP: I am sorry but not all the stores have them.

ME: Is this your store address on the bottom of the ad.

EMP: Yes it is.

ME: Why don't you start calling the other stores and find one and have them send it to your store for me.

EMP: I cannot do that.

ME: Let me talk to your supervisor

SUPV: What can I do for you

ME: Sell me one of your M91/30 that our in your ad.

SUPV: We do not have any in stock but maybe Thursday.

ME: Our you able to check the other stores for stock and have them send it to your store

SUPV: Sure

ME: Thanks for the help and if you do not find one when they do come in can you pick me a good one.

SUPV: No problem and I will call with what I find out.

ME: Thanks a lot

Glad to see the employee was so helpful. I haven't pulled my Sunday paper apart yet. Have to take a look and see if a got a Flyer.

I agree with that. When you order something, you never know what you'll get. But being able to hold a gun in my hands, inspect it, and say "Yes, this is the one I want." That'worth at least ten dollars.
