I guess it's a matter of opinion, but I thought that looked pretty rough......Definitely a send back from my point of view should my wife have ordered that for me for Christmas(which is a pretty good chance).........She knows to get a handpick and I'm not accepting anything less than VG.....So I imagine I'll be sending it back after Xmas........

I know it is kind of a historic and personal touch to a weapon, but I can't stand getting a rifle that has a name carved into it. I think I will stay away from the "GOOD" condition guns.

Plus that guy paid for "hand select" and the stock has two cracks in it. He did get mostly matching numbers though. I wonder how the bore is?

Dear Fellow Members-I agree-There's NO way I'd pay almost $200.00 for an SKS in this condition. What worries me about the less than new guns is the chance that the bore is pitted due to lack of chroming!I've already read 2 posts of people complaining of pitting in their IO $250.00 SKS'S!My .02 worth:)-Gearhead.

Looks like I need to order from I/O one of their $300. guns :( bummer. But that one in the pic is worthless to me in that condition. Oh well.....does I/O have any new ones left?
