tennesseeguns carries these
SAIGA BUTT STOCK
Saiga side-folding buttstock designed
to fit any Saiga receiver. Produced in Russia.
If being used on an imported firearm, the
firearm must be in compliance with 922(r).
Does anyone here know where to get one of these, none of the DISTRIBUTORS listed on thier site doesn't list any, will these fit on a 7.62 saiga, has anyone here used one,
Thanks for any input, shopping around for my first saiga build

In order to install one of those, you need to convert the gun to be 922(r) compliant by adding a bunch of U.S. made parts since the stock is Russian made. I'd recommend the nearly identical American made ACE version which doesn't require any other mods to the gun.

Problem is that when you use those stocks(the folders) they give you extra meat sticking out the back of the reciever which in my eyes doesn't look that good, unlike the conversion here which looks sweet.
Saiga_Conversion in the sticky, for some reason it won't let me post the URL or link,I'm new here, probably missed something.
He said he used a First Son Enterprises simulated Krinkov buttstock from RPB Industries (RPB P/N AKKRST-E1).
Could not find one of those on the many RPB sites, saw some on k-var/mart but I'm not sure if it would fit.

If you want to have the ACE folding butt stock (or non-folder for that matter) but not the "extra meat sticking out the back" use the AKRBC receiver block. You will have to cut the tang off the back of your receiver but this block sits flush with the rear of the receiver allowing a better looking stock attachment.
To do the entire installation you will need three parts:
1. AKRBC Receiver block........$35.00
2. The ACE AK stock of your choice
3. The FSM Folding Stock Mechanism..........$59.95
Leave out the FSM if folding isn't desired.
I don't know what the other stock mentioned above costs but the ACE parts are very high quality and lock up nice and strong.
