Step #3 in getting my CMP Garand

Called today and a very nice young lady told me that yes they had received my application and my Dane would be shipped by next week. If I call back tomorrow the lady who is out today should be able to give me the serial number of the rifle I've been assigned. Looks like it won't be here by Xmas but soon after seems likely. COOL BEANS!

I hope you like it RS! Just remember if the stock looks beat up, you can get a Boyds replacement and make the weapon look super. If the finish is tired there are countless peoples out there that can do Parkerizing and refinish it. Sometimes the CMP Garands are Ok as is and sometimes they are going to be fixer-uppers!
