Can you put some standard handguards on those? The multi-rail tacky-tical thing is so, well, tacky.
Otherwise very nice! But I think I'll go with the Galil clone conversion. No tacky-tical rails there. ;)

Way it works is , standard issue's are shipped to Atlantic for distribution . For "one-of's" or variations , drop me a line . Basicly , we build guns to order .

Most customers like the rails , they may be beautiful to some and ugly to others,to each their own,,,, either way the rifle can be custom built to order within reason.

IF I knew there were quality 20rd mags on the way I would not have passed on a plain jane saiga for $310!

I don't like them at all. I have heard Redjacket does good work and I recommend them on the boards but that is an overpriced rifle in my opinion.
I bought my .308 for $309.00 + tax and converted it in 3 hours for a cost of about $125.00 in parts. It looks great and is worth more than I have into it, but the price of the AF arms rifle which is just a SAIGA is ridiculous for an AK. I recommend AF on several boards but come on, that rifle is not worth the price in my opinion.

What is up with that? Why would you use G-3 sights on an AK? What is wrong with the sights already on it? Oh! leftover g-3 parts that they need to get rid of.....Ahhhh, I understand. Apparently they also want to retire by selling those leftover parts.

Man, tough crowd in here. I think the rifle appears quite useful in the standard configuration.

i like it! love the HK sights, and the modification to the bolt is different and alows for only slightly tilting the rifle to the left to grab hold and charge it. a little overboard on all the rails but is what you advertise, a tactical .308. about the price, damn!, i would have guessed $600-700 at the most! just keep the variations comin, someone will buy them

6-7 hundred ? I wish Brother , my parts/material cost on this model is 700 . Turnaround/backlog is running about 4 months now , so , yeah , sombodys buying them :) And you bet , we got some new stuff in the works , but it'll be a few months yet . I need to get a little better caught up before introducing new stuff . I like the HK sights myself , like the stainless , welded in piccatinny too and the Tromix/Ace stock combo . Not a fan of the railed forearm , prefer the Bulgy mil. pattern myself . But Hell , I know guys that marry fat chicks , so I guess taste is pretty subjective . Will

How did you stabilized the dust cover to keep the zero on the rear sight?
To be honest I prefer 20'' bbl for 308, to make use of all the power. (correct me if I'm wrong or the bbl is not 16''). And also I don't care to much for the cheese graters. But as you said everybody have his own taste! If you put 700$ in that rifle is not such a good business. For these amount of money I would rather go into custom built, and there $1000+ is very OK. But again is not mine is yours business!
The gun looks cool though. Good luck with your orders and business!
P.S. for 308 I would like to see something more in DMR line. But again I am just one!

Thanks Para , Appriciate the good word :) . On the dust cover , we just followed the Galil , the Saiga's cover is very heavy and holds well . While these shown are "production" guns made for Atlantic , all our weapons are custom builds and made to order . Blaine just order's them 20 at a time ;) .
To date , my favorite thing we've done with a Saiga .308 is convert it to AK103 configuration , keeping the full 20 in. bbl . We call those the AK-108 LOL [admittidly , I drew a blank on the name] . Another one I really liked was one with just the HK sight's , No picatinny [filled and blended the RSB] used a std poly stock and a MP5 forearm . 16 in. bbl w/ a birdcge f/h'r on it . That one was pretty neat , had a real good feel to it . Guy's order a lot of "Could you?" stuff , if I think they're on to somthing , we put it on the website with a price tag . Will

You're welcome, I always appreciated ppl who stand behind their work and make a honest business!
I visited your site and I like it!! The AK-108 is really my kind of rifle! The one with HK flavor is like your ZK-M SBR but with full bbl? it certainly look sweet!
now I'm kinda out of dough but you have some nice candy there!

yeah , that's the one . I guess I'm a bit of a minimalist ' older I get , less I like to carry LOL .
We'll be doing another Birthday shoot for me next year [June 24] , we open up the range and hand out machinegun's , no charge . You and anyone else on this forum that can make it are welcome to come down and try some this stuff out :)
