Saiga Phantom Chambering

Greetings All, longtime lurker here very grateful for all the info available:

I'm intrigued by the Saiga variant chambered in 9x53. Does anyone have info about this cartridge, ballistics, etc?

The only info I've found about available ammo is manufactured by the Novosibirsk Low-Voltage Equipment Plant, makers of Bear ammo. Is there a possibility of USA availability?
