Since there is only one PROPER way to say it, you don't need the poll :D
It's MO-seen and Nagant is pronounced Nah-GON.
Now since I'm not a Frenchie-type pantsy-ass I personally and deliberately mispronounce it as
MO-sin Na-gahnt.
Go to a gun show and say: let me see that MO-seeen Nah-gon please, you big handsome boy!
...well, that could be more dangerous than shooting the M1916 Spanish Mauser.

Kinda depends on your geography. Around here, we just call them NAG-ants. Yeah, it ain't correct but if you go around saying Mo-SEEN Nah-GON the dealers look at you funny. :D

Phonetically though: moe-sihn sounds right to me.
We don't have any accents here in Oregon, although I can still summon up my east coast days, while we lived in New York. I can do New York perfect. Pacino/Regis are my heros!!! Kinda wished we had a Carolina twang around here, though. LOL Nothing sexier than a Holly Hunter type of twang, at least to me.
While in NY, kids made fun of my Oregon accent in grade school, out in Nassau County. Kids are fucking ruthless.
Cheers!!!
Isn't it spelled "Moisin"?

No thats a common mis-spelling. I used to do that all the time and got to hear about it every time I did.

Where the hell did that "moisin" or "moy-sihn" come from? That's like saying "nookyeller war", instead of "nooklear war" like it's spelled. (the word nuclear seems pretty easy to me!).
Someone in the gunshop a few months ago asked to see one of the "Sintahmee's" (CETME) a while back. I can understand getting confused over a Spanish acronym like that, but its pretty easy too.

Trust me it's Moe-seen and Nah-gon(e). The "T" is silent as Nagant was Belgian and Belgians speek a French dialect.

OK so I'm gonna start calling it "Moe-SEEN" then, since it seems to be the majority. Thanx guys.
