I don't know of any except for some Czech 180 grain stuff that Gibbs Rifle co. had about 3 years ago. BTW it sucked! Lot of no fires, many split cases. Cases were rusting from the inside as the powder was going acidic. Very bad stuff.
Don't confuse it with the silver tipped Czech 148 grain lead core light ball that is on the market currently. That ammo is OK!
I think Norinco use to export some copper washed steel cored ammo but I haven't seen that for 5 years now.

Basically all of your surplus 54R ammo is steel core, including the Hung, Russian, Albanian, and Bulgarian. thats on the market. Only the hunting/SP, and some of the early 50s Chinese stuff in the brass cases were lead core. Not quite A.P. but will penetrate quite a few things nonetheless.. hope this helps.

I dont know about the hungarian or albanian stuff, but I thought the Czech Silvertip was hardened core. Blue box w/silver stripe stuff.
