I like the 5" flash hiders, the best are the slip over so you still have a nic 16" barrel with a 5" flashhider so you dont lose that 4" of accuracy.

Me too! Use to have a SP1 Colt like that. Where can you find those at? Haven't done any surfing the net to find them yet.

not a big fan of dpms.

just got one for the build i just did.

dont get me wrong, it functions perfectly, but...

the fit and finish, ive noticed, are far inferior to my stag or double star lowers.

maybe i just got a bad one, who knows.

I would call them...... I have two that are as nice as my S&W15 or my colt A2 ? .....I know there was a local shop passing seconds as ok Items.....Since you can get a minor blemsh for A lot less!

maybe the SOB did sell me a 2nd !?!?

too late now anyway, just threw it togethet on tuesday. tried it out on tues night and on wed after work.

put about 150 through it w/ no probs.

the things i noticed were the round portion above the back of the grip wasnt nice and round as the others, the r was a flat spot on the rear of it.

the cut for where the top of the pg goes, the 3 cuts taken to leave the attachment area were not done on the same plane, there was a small step there.

these 2 probe are not a big deal, as i got the ergo grip and it covers both of them.

another thing was the others were anodized COMPLETLEY. i noticed on the dpms, on the bottom of some of the holes were missed. im assuming air bubbles when diping, again, no big deal.

the part that bothered me was when i was done, it didnt match the upper too well like my others. its a little sloppy. i think ill try to find one of those little rubber things to tighten it up at the gun show this weekend by berwick (nescpopec??)

I was thinking about going to nescpopec but thats a haul for me ....Plus I am kinda broke ......I am Still looking for a JOB and my Unemployment dont kick in for a week or two ....But let me know how it go's

I bought two accu wedges for mine but they were so tight I would have had to trim them and stand on the rifle just to get it to close....

I'm new to ARs and just bought the DPMS Panther Lite 16" this week past. Just got it Thursday, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but I like the fit n finish of it, and my wife likes the weight, nice and light....
Anybody have one of these and can fill me in on how it runs?
Thanx,
Bil
