View Full Version : VEPR scope options
Got a VOMZ Pilad 4x32 on mine. It is the Russian scope imported for the VEPR by www.robarms.com (http://www.robarm.com) It has the same recticule and BDC as the SVD sniper rifle.
The english version of the manual in downloadable and printable format is at: http://webarmory.ixworld.com/manuals/akmanuals.html

JA, what do you think about slapping a good quality mil-dot scope or a Springfield Armory rangefinder scope (set up for .308!) instead of a russian scope?

VEPR owners: I'm just about to buy a VEPR, and I want a good scope to put on it. I'd like a rangefinder, and a bullet drop compensator, and a lit reticle would be nice. I want this scope to be clear and usable up to 700 yds. I've heard the PSO scopes are good, but are the BDC's set up for a .308 round? Thanks!
Sounds ok to me but for $103 delivered I went for the Russian scope. You would get better accuracy because VOMZ is only 4x and the scopes you mention are 10x.

I just got the VOMZ P4x32 for my .308 Vepr. Haven't mounted it yet,but I'm very impressed with the quality of the optics. The range finder is very cool. I also like the tough matte black military finish. I just might buy another one for my .308 Galil.
