Ammo Validity

Could someone please tell me if it is safe to use 7.62x39 ammo marked 1982 and 1987? I think that they have at one time been in water!

What would happen if i were to use them??

I would try pulling a few of the rounds apart and see how the powder looks. Use a proper bullet puller for this. Ammo is cheap but medical bills aren't. If in doubt, just dispose of it properly and buy some more. This is one of the cheapest rifle round you can buy.
