OK, I give up. I've tried all the posted fixes for trigger slap in my Maadi. The more I mess with it the worse it gets. From what I see when I work the action the problem is the exchange of the hammer between the first and secondary engagements, if that makes any sense. Now it's time for a professional. Anybody know of a good/reliabale smith in the NE Ohio area? Any help is appreciated.
Thanx,
Wedge

Funny you should mention this - while out shooting my Maddi today, I noticed trigger slap. It's only the second time or so I've had this gun out, though I bought it years ago...
Sure enough, there was a brite metal spot on the top rear of the trigger where the disconnector had been hitting it. I did the "Dremel disconnector rear" trick & will see if it clears up.
If your fire control parts aren't freshly blued? Do this, then go out & let it slap. When you come back, look for shiny spots. You'll find the problem...
