I have a stripped, milled receiver and a Hungarian parts set. Time to put it together. I've worked on lots of bolt action rifles, headspacing is fairly easy with a field guage from Brownells. Can I do the job on a semi-auto with the proper guage? I know the barrel is reverse thread. What is the routine for headspacing a semi? Or should I save myself the headached and let a pro do it?
