You are faced with two options. One is tape it on with electrical tape or wire. Two, place some kind of muzzle comp on to keep it from working out. cya

Almost the opposite on my SAR-1 - need a screwdriver to pry it loose from the retaining ears first couple of times. It's ok now. You're sure it is snapping in to the retainer? Dumb question, I suppose. Tape idea OK, but just wrap it around the end of the cleaining rod so that it seats, that way, it is not too unsightly. http://www.ak47forums.com/smile.gif

Sar2 and 3's dont have "Rod Ears" like an Sar 1, you need an AK-74 front sight and comp, or if you can find a press on muzzle cap from a WUM/CUR bbl take off, you could have it installed.

If you dont use it as a cleaning rod give it a little bend and it will stay in place.
