Ak mags and Galil

Can 233 mags for a AK be made to fit and work for a Galil rifle? Thank you.

My understanding is that yes, they can be modified and used in the Galil.

YEs anyone with enough time and tools could probably modify one to work, but there are several different mags out there and would not be easy to do. Galil mags are still readily available from CDNN in steel and orlite. Orlite for 29.99 new, (19.99 used, although I have heard those are VERY used) and the Steel for 49.99. I would recomend you just call up CDNN and get some of the orlite mags. I have several and they work great. They are a little larger than the steel mags but are much lighter, won't rust or dent and work great. Hope this helps.

Someone on the old board posted about converting 5.45x39 to work in a Galil. If they work I'm sure the 5.56 mags will work.

Yep CDNN's used Galil Orlite 5.56 mags are very used. Pay the extra money and get the new Orlites.
