A long time ago, in the now out of print Machine Gun News, there was an article about a guy who made really sturdy followers for the Norinco 100 round drum mags. I need to find out where to get one of these, or how to fabricate one.
The problem with the 100 round drums is that sooner or later the follower will bend from the pressure on it, and then it renders the drum useless. This guy was making them out of some kind of tough metal, and they wouldn't break.
Anyone have even the faintest clue of what I'm talking about? Or where to find one of these followers???

was that magazine a cheezie chicom, or one made by Norinco? I understand that there are quality issues with the no-name drums.
