Entry Tactical question

I want to get rid of everything on top mto have a clear view thru the window of my Bushnell Halosight. Plans are to remove front sight & replace with rail top gas blodsk to hold folding front sight. Remove nice liiking carry handle and mount Haliosight directly to Reciever flat top. doing this would I need a riser to cowitness the folding front & rear sights?
I have some ordered but didn't consider needing a riser to co-witness.

The Eotech is parallax free so you don't need a riser to co-witness, but it may be necessary to co-witness with a centered reticle in the FOV for the Eotech.

If you want a riser you could look into something like the ARMS Swan sleeve (I think that's what it's called) or better yet one of their SIR systems. You get the benefits of free floating the barrel, raising the Eotech a bit, and flushing the rear flip up sight if it's also an ARMS unit. I set one upper up like that and I like the hell out of it. Very solid and very low profile on top.
