mag 4-pack question

A number of dealers, such as http:/www.cdnninvestments.com, are offering 4 new 7.63X39 mags in a case or pouch for around $40-45. Anyone have any experience with this package? Thanks in advance.

No, I haven't dealt with CDNN for years. But what dealing I have had with them, they were ok to deal with. But at 40-45 bucks isn't too shabby a deal. That is of course, the mags are new or in new condition. cya

yeah, I bought 2-4packs from CDNN for $49 each. These are the Bulgarian new magazines, which some claim to be the best. I've used two so far in my SAR with no failures.

I understand that the lower priced 4-packs ($29-39) are Romanian and/or E. German mixed, and may be new or used.

FYI, Progressive Arms has new Bulgy mags for $9 each.

Well, I was flipping thru a friend's 9/18/00 issue of Shotgun News and saw the ad. I could have sworn their website was progrssivearms.com, but no dice (that's why I editted the first post).

Anyone with that issue of SGN, please help us out.

They show the mags for $13.95 but for that price Hell I think I will pick some up. I cant waight to see the kits they will have for sale.

Dogma- I have a MISR S/A That's very peculiar when it comes to mags. I have a bunch of east german ones- some fit great, some didn't. I filed a small amount from the back catch on a few mags that didn't fit and they worked fine. I put about 1K rounds thru it, and now all mags fit - go figure. Now the ones I filed are a little loose. Centerfire Systems has four 30 rnd EG mags and a pouch for $33.97. Their number is 800-950-1231. I've bought several of these 4 mag/pouch deals over the last 4 months and most of them are new. All of them are in great shape. So for $8.50 a mag you also get a free water proof pouch. Not a bad deal IMO.
