Problems loading Bulgarian Waffle Mags

Is it just me, or are the Bulgarian waffle mags hard to load. I just about chewed all the skin off my finger loading mine. When I am at the range and I get impatient to load my next mag, these mags are a real bitch. My old steel mags have a wider opening and are much smoother and quicker to load (plus I get to keep my skin). Anyway, I think the waffle mags look great, and the lower weight is a big plus, but the steel mags are easier to load (at least without modification).
