How many marker's ?

I have the waffle and I have the chinese and one e. german. How many countries have their own version?

Lots of countries made their own mags, off the top of my head there were

Russian
Hungarian
Bulgarian
Chinese
Egyptian
Romanian
E. German
and the U.S

and I am sure there are many more, the Russians and Chinese made bakelight 7.62*39s and steel, Bulgarians made poly and steel and to my knowledge the rest made all steel but not absolutely sure! Most eastern block steel mags commonly available are more or less the same and made on the same pattern so there isnt much reason in trying to differentiate them, mine are mostly Hungarian and E.German.

Thanks Jimbob, had no idea that each country would make their own. I've seen diferent colored ones on pictures of the ragheads. The Bulgarian waffle mags are they still considered the best?

Personally for day to day use I prefer steel, and the moral to the story with AK mags is THEY ALL WORK GREAT!!!!!! (except USA). I really dont think there is any BEST ak mag though most people seem in love with the polymers, I have some they work and look cool and dont weigh much but I just prefer good old steel. Of the steel mags the now dirt cheap Bulgarian mags have the best finish unless you can find some of the parked Hungarian or East German mags.
