hey someone stole your shoe -- http://www.ak47forums.com/biggrin.gif
i was wondering about your mak, i saw one that looked like that one and it had 2-3 serial numbers on the left side, and what looked like a importers stamp at the top of the grip on the right side -- is yours like this ?
the reason i ask is cuz the one i saw and yours look the same and also different from the other bulgie maks ive seen that were imported by arsenal
who imported your mak ?
how well does that scope work on the rifle? good groups and accuracy with it ?

Funny thing about the sights in the dig cam it always catches just a few more inches than is in the view finder. I will have to go look at the bulgy it wasnt an arsenal import. It came from century via classic arms. These were mil guns produced in the 60s and 70s with the round trigger guard. The arsenal guns had squared trigger guards I believe. The makarov is a great little shooter and always gets better than 3.5 inches at 50 yards and I am a lousy shot. As for the SLR it groups very well down around an inch if you can get yourself settled nice and still in the sandbags. I dont care for the scope much but the dealer I bought it off of threw it and the mount in the deal and the SLR already had a siderail. I want to replace it with a cobra sight here in the future. Take care.
