View Full Version : Yugo or Romanian PSO-1 variants....
I have one of the early import Yugo .308 M77BB1, also have the factory mount for the scope--only thing I'm missing is the scope. Would like to find an original but know that the wish in one hand shit in the other scenario would apply here. Any suggestions where I might find one of the Romanian Tritium scopes with the Zeiss glass?

av8r, I wish I could help you. I've heard of some Hungarian scopes out on the market, but have yet to see any. I also have a Yugo in 7.62 NATO, and am considering buying a K-Var moount for it, but I've heard they are very tall mounts.
Something that may look fairly authentic however for your rifle might be a Swarovski or Zeiss 1.5-6x with an Inch tube.
Just a suggestion. I've never seen one of the Yugo scopes in person.

In 1996 K-Var imported a very small amount of PSO-1 scopes made in Russia specifically for the .308 Yugo. I bought the last one from them in 1998.
The scope rail on the Yugo is different from other Combloc weapons, but standard Combloc optics, including the Kobra, can easily be modified to fit with a little Dremel work.
The rail on the Yugo sits high on the receiver,so it does place the scope very high also, making a good cheek weld difficult.
