View Full Version : Any other Galil owners out there?....
Hi all! I've recently become a BIG fan of the Galil. Don't really know why it took me so long to catch on!! I've got a Magnum Research import .223 AR. Very nice rifle, FUN shooter, and has a really sweet trigger!! Got a Action Arms import .308 ARM recently for a great price, this one was like new! Tritium sights still glow! It's a great shootin' rifle too.
Wouldn't mind picking another Galil up!! http://www.ak47forums.com/wink.gif

I was the proud owner of an Action Arms Galil AR in 7.62 NATO, until my dumb ass traded it off...for what reason I can't remember now............
OK...I freely admit my dumbassness! http://www.ak47forums.com/redface.gif

Hi guys,
I have a model 329 AR 308 NIB and have talked
to a lot of people who say they are one of the best shooting 308's. Thinking of keeping
mine and selling my para Fal. Unfortunately
something has to go; moving to Prescott AZ and need money for the land deal.
What do you guys think?
Thanks Karl

Ooooh, tough one!!
What type FAL do you have? I've got a Belgian 50:63 Para and love it. Mags sure are cheaper for the FAL, but the trigger is nicer on my Galils. I may be interested in either one if you decide to sell.
Gimme a shout!

I got a killer deal in August '98 on a NIB Model 323 ARM in .308 imported by Action Arms in '89.
Planning on shooting it before the end of the year, but I said that last year, too.

AH....YES...The old I do not have two of them. I wish I could say I had two VALMETS (I do not yet!!) So I can understand your reluctance to shoot your ARM. I still have not shot the VALMET but it might just make the OHIO shoot with CAMPYBOB and get broken in! You have a fine weapon there and will not be disappointed in its performance! http://www.ak47forums.com/biggrin.gif

Anyone have any accurracy results they wanna share? I've shot both my .223 AR and my .308 ARM, but not for group. (the DID make short work of large rocks @100 yds. http://www.ak47forums.com/smile.gif )

DK: I have a post asking about .308 Galil accuracy on ak-47.net in the Galil/Valmet/Yugo forum and have gotten one excellent reply if you want to check it out.
RangerSXT: Tell CAMPYBOB that you'll shoot your NIB Valmet if he'll shoot his NIB .308 Galil ARM http://www.ak47forums.com/biggrin.gif

Hey Templar, nice pic!! I'd love to have one of those! Talk about a good "car gun".
Just got in some IMI .308 mags from Mike@MSC for my ARM. Can't ever have too many mags!! Will be blasting this weekend.
