Romak III experiences

I saw one of these at a shop a couple days ago they seem like fine capable rifles with the typical overly robust Ak build. I was wonder how those of you who own them are getting along with the gun? I may look for one when I recover from my recent purchase, maybe around the first of the year if they are still available.
One thing that surprises me with the Romanians tendency to diversify there guns in various calibers (sar 1,2,3) that they havent attempted to produce this gun in .308? Thanks

Ask Tomac; he's had some good results at 600 and 950yds.

I wish they had made a .308 version; I would have jumped on it right away.

Yes so would I, still very surprised they havent given the market. Maybe the design doesnt lend well to a rimless cartridge but the Chinese did it? I like 7.62*54r as much as anyone else but .308 is one of those ubiquitous calibers. Even if custom mags were needed it shouldnt be an issue since they are all 10rd anyways.
