The fit and finish on that gun is one of the best I have seen. Is that gun blued? It has a nice shine to it.

Why doesn't your SAR-2 have the upward-angled charging handle?

I think he used a whole new parts kit on that gun. Looks nice.

The SAR2 was the donor receiver and receiver cover.

Everything else is Bulgarian, hence the straight charging handle. It is as close to the real Russian as we in America are going to get at this point in history.

My US parts are: stock set/trigger group.

Why is the finish on your gun so good? I want one that looks that good. Was it refinished?

Did Mike@MSC do the work for you Backblast? It looks fantastic. He built my StG-58, and it looks absolutely new.

I'm having Informer work on the SAR2 when I get it. He's going to phosphate it and then black teflon-enamel it after the work is down, to give it an authentic black laquered finish.

Here's the StG-58. It's between the Armscor M14 and the pre-ban L1A1 on the fence. My Yugo in 7.62x51mm is inbetween the M14 and the HK 91A2.

So Jimbob, what are you going to do with your pre-ban Norinco? Keep it standard or do something like this......

We need a place to post just pics of all these guns. I just love to look at what every one had done to the guns they have. Or if they just find pics of them in the trash http://www.ak47forums.com/biggrin.gif They all look great.

I dont know templar one day I look at it and say "Gee that gun is so clean and sharp stock" next day I am thinking vortex flash suppressor, FAL syle handgaurd, green stained laminate forarms with forward pistol grip, and an Ace sidefolder. Talk about a vicious looking vision with a 75rd drum! I will probably just start picking up the accesories I want here and their and if I want to put them on someday they will be there or if I aquire a second preban I can use them there. Take care....man you collection is sweet!
