sar 2 vs cur, wum....

Curious if the regular thumhole stock c.u.r.'s and wums better than the sar 2? Other than the american made parts? Thanks

I have 2 early CURs. They are excellent rifles. Good straight receivers, no indentations or dishing around the rivet heads. If the US fire control parts are'nt a problem for you, I would have to say that the newer SARs should be of the same standard.
The 2 models have another shared feature, the so-so bead blasted bluing finnish. I would suggest refinnishing either model with epoxy enamel paints or a finnish of your choice. HTH
