The SAR 2 shoots pretty good. I was hitting cans at 100 yards with no problem had no jams missfires or any problems of the sort. I only shot 120 rounds through it and the hammer is starting to get a groove looks like it's hitting the back of the bolt.

Did not really notice any trigger slap.

The hammer looks worse than my Romak2 which has over 1000 rounds through it.

Over all I like the rifle. Will probably get it refinished and change of stock but the wood matches and is a dark finish.

CETME fired good. I put 1 round in it to make sure it wouldn't lock up(which seems to be the biggest problem mentioned on HK91.com's BB about them) it fired and ejected flawlessly.

I loaded up a 20 round mag and loaded the chamber and click no bang. Waited and manually cycled action to reload chamber and fired the rest of the mag(19 rounds) flawlessly. I inserted next mag and loaded chamber and no problems fired all 20 rounds flawlessly. I was shooting can with it at 100 yards also. I put the round that didn't go off back in a mag and tried again it fired.

I did notice the bold didn't close(if you know what the action looks like you probably know what I mean the bolt closed but carrier was not all the way seated) all the way the first couple times shooting and seemed to close easier after shooting a couple times.

Recoil on the CETME was less than my G3 clone I have and seemed more accurate. Very nice rifle.

I have a Cetme also, and really like it. It is very accurate, however it does shoot to the right a tad and low. The verticle adjustmet is obvious. What about windage?
The trigger pull is very heavy. How is yours?
My rifle also will short cycle(bolt/carrier) not closed completely. I have very few rounds thru it so I guess it is not broken in.

I'm not sure if there is a windage adjustment. Since I was shooting cans and not a target I haven't seen the need to adjust anything yet as I was hitting the cans and they were flying and looking at them after they had some nasty holes in them.

Trigger pull is heavy and the safety is strange(down safe)after getting used to the G3 clone(up safe).

It only seemed to not close all the way loading the first round out of the first 2 mags when there is no recoil force making the spring force it closed. When it fires it was cycling fine with no hangups at all.

Oh BTW I was using British Radwaygreen L2A2 ammo. I have heard to stay away from CAVIM ammo in these rifles(don't really know why). I use the British ammo alot for shooting. Nice cheap ammo and works good in my G3 clone, CETME, and Saiga.
