I had a problem with my camera that it would start recording and then it wouldnt shut off.
Also the bolt release on the AR has a problem that it wont budge at all. Im not sure if it has to much finish on the inside of the receiver or on the part itself. Im going to get that looked at before I do anything to it. I really like the AR and for 630-650 I think I did good on it.

for that price I would have to consider picking one up to play around with.

Im not sure I could build it again at that price with lower receivers going up. Im not sure how high Essential Arms is now I think 100 bucks when I bought mine they where 77 bucks.
Im happy with it but I still like my AK more.

everyones different.
I have my AK thats super reliable, alot more accurate than I expected, has only been cleaned once cause I was bored at the time and in a "cleaning mood" (dishes didnt get touched tho! lol), it just seems less refined
and I also have my "M4" style AR.....between the two I prefer my AR.
-just seems like my AR is in a whole other class of guns.
either way.....if I could build one for within $100 of what you paid, I would have to think hard about it!

I might be able to build it for 680-700 maybe a little more then that but not much. I think Essential Arms is like 100 + Shipping of wich I think is 9 bucks or a little more. The upper I used has not changed in price but the mags have. I might not buy as many if any more mags. Thats still not a bad price for an AR and right now 700 is a steal.
I have not cleaned my AK yet not sure when I will lol I need to. The AR I cleaned right after shooting.

I clean my AR after every shoot like some smoke a cigarette after sex.... :yeah:
Dont bother cleaning your AK....just pull the dust cover off the top and tap it a few times to knock the big stuff out. It'll be fine......one of the things I DO love about my AK!!!
If I can squeeze enough cash by missing a few lunches and not eating out....after finishing my current AR build...I might have to build one of these guns!
