I thought you had a EG AK scope... If you do can you post a pic of it? Do you know how rare they are and what one is worth?
Thanks Steve

A buddy of mine just picked one up at the Knob Creek show on a Romac II. I was just checking to see how rare they are. I would like to get it and needed to know about how much it would cost me. I love the look of the range finder in it. Thanks For the help.

Hi Mike!
Cos the scope is made in Germany the scale is probably mrads (unless if it's made in east-germany, then the scale is Russian mils).
I don't know this for sure but I'd zeroed that in 200 meters and I believe that rangefinder demonstrates 1 meter wide object at marked distance.

Valmet M76-
I might be able to help you...
I'm accquainted with a guy who's fluent in German. With a little effort, I can get in touch with a different guy who was my High School German teacher. How fluent are they? Guy #1 spent 4 years in Germany as an Artillery F.O. He has a collection of books that are printed in German. He's pretty good. Guy #2 was in a Military Intelligence Battalion in Berlin during the '70's. He had to translate Intelligence reports from German to English. He's still teaching at my old High School last I heard. He still owes me a favor because I took him bass fishing a couple of times and he caught one that he put on the wall.
If you can photocopy the instructions and send them to me, I'll try to get them translated for you.
E-mail me and let me know if your interested...

Same here Mike, my company is owned by ZF, so the place is filled with germans. I am sure one would translate it.
