Russian 8X56mm scope

In the new Shotgun News there's an 8X56mm Russian scope with a range finder for $80 in the clearview investments ad. Has anyone ever seen one of these? Quality? Range finder specs? Any thing I can learn would be nice. I'm considering buying one and need some input. thanks.

I can NOT figure out how to mount something this big on an AK, though...

I'm going to mount it on an FAL with throw lever rings and a DS Arms mount.
I'll use my AK74 with iron sights for closer work.
