I have designed a new battery adapter for the Kobra sight, which will allow you to use one 6v camera flash battery in place of the two AA lithiums. These 6v batteries are commonly available anywhere, and last far longer and are far cheaper in cost. I have found several web sites on the Internet who sell these for around $3.50 and you need only one. I have tested the adapter with great success, and will be manufacturing these for anyone who would like one. They are designed for high current applications. I have tested these at home and have determined they are well worth the effort, and will save money due to the use of only one, the initial cost, and the longer lifespan.

I will be starting the fabrication of these adapter units this weekend if enough interest is generated, if you would like one please email me and I will make one for you.

I will be charging $8.00 for each adapter, plus shipping of $1.00. I hope to purchase enough batteries to supply them for an additional cost, or you can get your own at Walmart or other outlet.

Once I have enough orders I will start making these and sending them out.

I also have a lower price for the Kobra sight. Please e-mail me if you are interetsed in either item.

I also take PayPal for credit cards, and money orders and checks via snail mail.

Thank you,
Tantal

Tantal..... I just had to say how pleased I am with your adapter. The adapter and the battery slide in so easy compared to the lithium batteries I was using. Thanks for making this sight a whole lot easier to use.

Tantal, hopefully you'll be hearing from my wife pretty soon (keeping fingers crossed). When asked what I wanted for Christmas....I said Kobra! I have shown her your excellent site also.

BTW...do you have both the newer 3 volt system and as well as the older 6 volt?

Do you have any Russian laminate AKM wood for sale, and one more thing...the drop bags, mag carriers, and slings...do you still have them in stock?

I figure a man has to have some stocking stuffers as well!

Thanks!

Thanks for asking! I have the new 3v Kobra but sold out of the 6v versions. The 6v sold out pretty fast after it was determined they were in limited quantities.

I currently offer free shipping on the Kobra sights.

I also still have web gear sets, complete three peice Russian military set on sale for $50.00 plus shipping. That's Kalashnikov slings, full stock drop cases, and 4-cell AK-74 mag pouches, all current issue Russian Army issue in mint condition.

Did anyone see my SGN ad? I never did, wonder if they lost it and charged my credit card anyway? I better check on it, I guess.

Tantal - your add is there (under your real name) - it's just a bit burried in the Militaria (?) section. You might prefer to put this in the "Military Arms Parts" section...

Hopefully, you will get an order from a lady you've never heard of this week http://www.ak47forums.com/smile.gif

Tantal, would like the details for the MTK side mount rail and scope mount as shown on your site on the SLR-95

Please email me the details
Thanks--Looks like a similar setup on my Drag-Tiger, is that correct?

Yes, it is very similar, side plate with the same width dovetail, slides on from behind with a throw lever to lock it into place. Identical use, will fit many of the same optics. It is made to install without disturbing the rivets the rifle.
