While I was at the range this morning, I started playing with the different reticles on the Kobra. I currently have the sight zeroed at 50 yds with the inverted "V". Can I zero the "Dot" for 100yds without affecting my 50 yd zero? I seem to recall someone once saying they had one reticle zeroed at 100yds and another reticle zeroed at 200yds. Any suggestions? Also, how should I zero the "T"? Do I have the point of aim/point of impact be somewhere in the center of the 3 lines, or centered in between the 2 top lines. Thanks alot.

It is my understanding that you can only zero it for one range, but you can change reticles as you desire. Try sending a note to Tantal at krink@cst.net and I'm sure he will be more than happy to correctly answer your question. He is the man when it comes to the Kobra sight.

Tantal has a FAQ for the Kobra Here:
http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/kobra2.html
and instructions (that are much more clear than the manual) for zeroing the sight here:
http://tantal.kalashnikov.guns.ru/kobrazer.html
If you don't have a manual for your Kobra, I have one in Word 2000 .doc format, that I have improved graphics and formatting for, but only edited the obvious text errors. it is about a 750K file, I can email it to you.
