I know the Reflex series has a polarization filter available. I'd like to hear the experiences of those who have actually used the polarization filter and their thoughts, likes and dislikes concerning the filter. TIA...

Tomac,I have a ReflexII sight on my 16" Bushmaster AR-15.The polarized filter came with it.I've found when pointing the sight at a real bright sunlit target the triangle reticle does wash out to the point of almost dissapearing. The filter cuts the glare to where you can see the reticle clearly. However the filter makes it too dark in low light conditions, like dusk.I guess it boils down to is it worth carrying it around for the 5% of the time you will need it,or leave it off and use your iron sights instead when the target is too bright. I hope this helps you. John.

Tomac,I have a ReflexII sight on my 16" Bushmaster AR-15.The polarized filter came with it.If you point the sight close to or right at the sun it will wash out the reticle so it dissapears. With the filter on,it cuts the glare enough to see the reticle. However the other 95% of the time the filter is almost too dark.At dusk it is definitly too dark too see your target area.I would just leave it off,and the few times of bright backlight your iron sight would work just fine.Hope this helps you.John.
