got my kobra sight, mounting on sar 1

Will it go right on? I'm getting my sar 1 from aim tomorrow. DO I need a "scope plate" or will it mount right to the rifle?

The Romanian SAR-1 rifle comes with the mountimg plate installed on the left side of the receiver. The Kobra should slide right onto the mounting plate. You may need to adjust the tension clamp if the sight is loose. This is not difficult and is easily accomplished by rotating the clamp's tension nut. If you have difficulty in understanding the poorly translated instructions, post in this forum and I can provide a link to a webpage which provides easily understandable instructions for mounting and zeroing the sight.
