not sure how Model1Sales has been in the past....but I've had great luck with them lately.
Initially I ordered a couple small parts and a barrel wrench to do my AR build. It showed up in about 3 days, but without the barrel wrench, so I called the day after I just ordered an action block, and the action block and barrel wrench showed up in two diff. packages on the same day.....about 4-5 days total.
So, I went ahead and ordered a 24" stainless bull barrel from them, knowing full well when they told me it would be 8-10 weeks due to orders needing to be filled. I ordered that on the 9th of January, and have no doubt it will be here around that time period.
Well, to continue....I called DelTon Inc. to check on the order I placed in NOVEMBER that they told me they had the parts and it would be shipped out in the order it was received. Well, I called just to make sure they still had my stuff set aside or in stock to ship since thats why I placed the order then....well surprise surprise...my buttstock and upper receiver were ok and would ship in 2-3 weeks (end of february...3 months after I ordered it and before they put any disclaimer up)......BUT the lower parts kit I ordered is now on a backorder and they have no clue when it will be in. Well, guess what, I will have everything there to build this rifle EXCEPT the lower parts kit.
So I called Model1Sales.....they had it in stock, I canceled with DelTonInc and reordered with Model1sales and its on its way in the next week or so.
How can Model1Sales be so good at getting my stuff here and DelTon calmly tells me my order (Nov.26th) is in line and they are processing orders from Nov. 13th or so right now and it will be 2-3 weeks before my stuff ships out. Seems crazy to me.
