I am thinking of getting a Kobra sight.

How have your sights held up, any broken parts, malfuntions?

Any problems with moisture?

Does it hold its zero?

How long do the batteries last, especially w/ the AA batery?

Is the reticle clear and crisp?

Thanks

Hello! First, the new AA 3v version is more thrifty with batteries, according to most users, than the lithium version. They will hold zero after you properly tighten them to the mount, by adjusting the bottom clamp until it is just the right fit. After that you can be guaranteed they will hold zero even after you remove and reinstall them hundreds of times. The reticle patterns are nice and clear, and the primary glass lens is tinted slightly to make the reticle easier to see even on a very bright day with an extremely lit foreground.

Tantal,

Thanks for the information. Are the electronics protected from moisture? Like having the rifle out in the rain. If there is a problem with the sight, where could I get the Kobra repaired?

Thanks
