Here's a photo of one .22rf "group" in my collection. I'm a collector of old, odd, unusual .22rf ammo boxes, not a shooter. This bunch is sealed, never opened, from CIL in Canada, which I bought off the shelf up there back in the late '70s.
And, years ago CIL sold out to another Canuckian company, which later sold out to a US company, which has since shut down that arm of their business. Won't be any more of it, folks...

Another example from my collection includes stuff like this sealed tin, racecar-shaped container from Remington, filled with 7 new boxes of their various .22rf ammo.

Call me crazy, but for some reason I find this kind of stuff a lot more interesting than holes in a sheet of paper...
So, is this the Rimfire Ammunition Collectors' Forum? :letssee:

Go to the Forums and look for "Rimfire World". You will probably find what you are looking for there.

Itorlo64 look over the titles of ALL the forums here and tell me how many times you see the word COLLECT, COLLECTING, COLLECTORS, ETC..
Then, look again for the words SHOOTING, DISCUSSION, etc. as part of the forum title.
Hmmmm.....

I understand what you are saying. There are no forums, except possibly in the Curio and Relic area, that are specifically titled for collections/collectors. There are collectors here, but I see what you mean.
I see your post count is getting up.
I noticed that your sign off statement is always different, how do you do that? Is it automatic or do you have to do it manually?

Curio and Relic was one of the first forums I visited, Itorlo64. I don't recall ANYTHING about collecting. I'll have to go back and check it out again.
As for the different sayings, instead of putting a "signature" in my CP I collect clever sayings, quotes, etc., off the Net from emails I get (you'd be surprised how many you can pick up there), from a puns website, everything and anything that catches my eye.
I keep a "draft" document titled SAYINGS # just behing whatever I'm working on, If I run into something I like I just click on the DRAFT and copy whatever it was onto the draft and click on SAVE which turns it back into a DRAFT.
Then when I get a page or two of sayings accumulated I give it a number and email it to myself. When it hits my inbox I print it out then file it away.
As I sit here at the computer I've got one of those shelves on top of the monitor where there's a pile of those SAYINGS pages. When I finish a post I grab the pile and pick out one of the sayings to add.
A little extra work, but I think it makes the posts more interesting than seeing the same thing over and over.
